Tampa Bay Defeats Dallas in Season Opener 31-29

COVID-19 and the pandemic saw sports come to a halt. Last season there were no fans to cheer their team on. Piped in crowd noise that’s it. Football is back. Fans get to come back and cheer their team on. The NFL kickoff is here. Tampa Bay Buccaneers get their Super Bowl Banner raised in James Raymond Stadium as the cannons blow. Dallas Cowboys vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Dak Prescott didn’t know if he was going to play this season. He’s coming off an season ending ankle injury. He didn’t play in preseason because of a shoulder injury. He suited upon this matchup where the Cowboys didn’t have a chance against then champs. This Dallas team is missing there best Offensive Lineman Zack Martin due to Covid. Tampa Bay Quarterback Tom Brady is coming off his 8th Super Bowl wins making his the GOAT, but can he go back to back with Tampa Bay. Tampa is getting every one back healthy.

Tom Brady had a good night throwing 32/50 39 Yds 4 TDs 2 INT. His offensive line protected him as he didn’t get sacked all game. Antonio Brown was having a awesome Performance 5 catches 121 1 TD. Chris Godwin 9 catches 105 Yds Rob Gronkowski 8 catches 90 Yds 2 TD including that nice catch in the 4th quarter.

Dak Prescott looked very good coming off that injury. Dak was 42/58 403 Yds 3 Tds 1 Int. Amari Cooper 13 catches 139 Yds 2 TDs. Best game so far by Cooper who hasn’t shown up in best games. CeeDee Lamb 7 catches 104 Yds 1 TD. Tampa Bay’s Defense Held Ezekiel Elliott to 11 carries 33 Yds.

Dallas took the lead with 1:30 left in the 4th quarter with the FG made by Greg Zuerlein who missed 2 FG and an Extra point. Nailed a 48 Yd FG with 1:24 with Dallas up 28-29. Way too much time for Brady to go down field. Brady finds Gronk with a catch down the middle. Godwin with a catch that could have been offensive PI but it wasn’t called. That setup Ryan Succop for the game winning FG. Tampa Bay comes back to win 31-29.
