The Raiders Have Won They 3rd Straight Win Over The Denver Broncos 37-12 In A AFC West Match Up. The Raiders Defense Was A Big Part Of This Win Having 5 Turnovers Against Denver Broncos QB Drew Locke. The story of this game was the defense for the Raiders. They intercepted Drew Lock four times and were able to harass him all game long. It was one of the worst games of Lock’s career and it helped fuel the Raiders to victory. In total, the Raiders forced five turnovers as this game was never really close.
Denver couldn’t reach the end zone but produced six points from field goals. The defense already began limiting the Broncos offensive drives. The unit stopped them on third downs without the Broncos penetrating the middle of the field. When Lock began to find a rhythm, specifically the ability to convert on third downs, the Raiders pass rush found the “key” to shutting him down. What turned the tide of the game was defensive end Arden Key. The LSU standout came up strong in the second quarter on Lock’s blindside and delivered a hit that left him stunned and quite frankly, scared. The quarterback did not look the same after that and joined the sideline shortly after. He stayed in the game but it looked like he was in some pain. Lock continued his drive but it all was downhill from that point on.
The Raiders Offense Didnt Play Well In The Passing Game But The Running Game Was Dominate With 200 Yards On The Ground Between Josh Jacobs & Devontae Booker. Booker Had 2 Rushing Touchdowns On The Day Against His Former Team That Release Him In The Offseason & The Raiders Benefit from it adding him to the roster. Raiders Defense Was The Talk Of This Game But Can they repeat This Performance Against The Superbowl champs on sunday night ?
