Eagles Defeats The Cowboys 23-9 In NFC East Matchup

It’s Cowboys week in Philadelphia. This is the most heat rivalry in football. Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles. In the battle of the nfc East division which isn’t that good this year. The whole division as a whole is god awful. Honestly anyone can win to be honest.

The eagles were the heavy favorites to win this game only because the Cowboys are down to their 3rd string quarterback Who is a rookie as well. Dak Prescott is out for the year and Andy Dalton is out with a concussion. Who is the quarterback Ben DiNucci. He’s a 7th round draft pick from James Madison. Now earlier in the week DiNucci was saying how he wanted the Philly Front Four to bring it.

We saw Carson Wentz still up to the same thing. Not making good decisions. Wentz was 15/27 123 yds 2 TDs 2 Ints. Wentz had all of the Eagles Turnovers also fumbling the ball and losing it. The eagles also welcomed back Jason Peters to the Offensive line Tight End Dallas Goddert and Jalen Reagor. Travis Fulgham is still proving that he’s belongs in this league 6 rec 78 yds 1 TD. Boston Scott 15 carries 70 yards.

Eagles Defense is what saved this game. The defense sacked Ben DiNucci 4 times, fumble scoop and score by Rodney McLeod. TJ Edwards played very well since the Eagles Linebacker core haven’t been doing that well. He had 12 tackles a sack and forced fumble.

They only held Dallas to 3 Field Goals. 9 plays 47 yards FG 49 yard , 6 plays 15 yards 49 yard FG and 5 plays 14 yards 59 yd FG. Jim Swartz stated that they wanted Ben DiNucci to read the defense. At times I’m wondering why not just Bring the Heat Jim. He’s 3rd string rookie QB he’s going to fold.

The Eagles goes into bye coming up hopefully everyone comes back and is healthy. Carson needs to go and think about everything right now. Doug Peterson needs to stop with the 2 pt conversations taking the extra point it is OK. We play the giants off the bye and our schedule doesn’t get anybody. We are in place first in the NFC Least.
